We can be honest, the samurai loves working with JWT. For this project, Samurai Ken worked closely with the team over at JWT to deliver a great and engaging social experience for the end user.
The Lean Cuisine 10 Day Try-it campaign was part self-help, part contest. The end user registered by granting permission through the Facebook application and then indicated their preferences as to what type of meals they would eat (vegetarian and so on). The system then customized a menu to their preferences. The user could also enter the codes from the product boxes, and for every 10 codes, they got a coupon for a Skinny Cow treat. Grand prize sweepstakes entries were awarded for interactions as well.
Samurai Ken built the backend from the ground up. Optimizing the node.js service code to make sure that they system wasn't scammed and that the interactions with ePrize happened as they should. The back end also generated menus and managed user profiles and analytics.
On the front end, our samurai also went to work on HTML / CSS and providing an extensive JavaScript library to help the other front end devs do their thing without worrying about communication to the back end.
